Tires Break Lose in 3rd Gear! 997TT Flash
Another very happy Porsche 997 Turbo customer has flashed his ECU via the OBDII port with Softronic. We sent him his files within 24 hours of the read out and he was up and running. Quote from the customer, “We’re still pretty cold up here so had to be a bit careful, but found a dry stretch and— wow, big difference, tires kept breaking loose even in third gear! Overall drivability good, no issues at all, just more power. I need some decent weather to shake it down all the way, but the flash seems to have worked just fine.”
Thanks for the support!

Dyno Proven Gains on a Porsche 996 GT2 Flashed by Softronic
One of our customers recently forwarded over these dyno sheets showing his before and after gains on his Porsche 996GT2. The car is RWD so made it much easier to find a dyno to use for his baseline testing. Stock the car made 347.2rwhp with gains starting at 3560rpms and continuing all the way to redline at 385.5rwhp. That is a 40HP gain to the wheels! With much of the driveable power lying in the torque area, the Softronic flashed picked up almost 80ft/lbs from 350ish to about 420ish at the rear wheels. The torque gains were noticed also at 3560rpms and up. Check out the dynos below.

997 C2 Cabriolet Gets Flashed with Softronic
One of our customers recently finished flashing his Porsche 997 Cab and forwarded us some pictures. Like all Softronic ECU tuning, the flash is done via the OBDII port via our simple instructions here. Once the customer does the read out, we send back his new tuned and original files within 24-48 hours for him to load to the car. All that is required is the cable we send you, a windows based laptop, and a wireless internet connection. Oh yea, your car too!
The customer told us, “Flashed the car last night, pretty simple and straight forward process. Once I plugged in the cable, it took less than 5 minutes. I was able to do a quick test run last night and I can definitely feel the difference in both the throttle response from the sport mode now being on and the increased torque at the bottom and top end. Where before when it would get close to the redline the power would really drop off and shifting into the next gear was very rough, now it continues to pull hard into the high rpm’s and when shifting to the next gear is much smoother.”
