Porsche 997 Carrera Flashed for Big Fun in Hong Kong

Just had a customer from Hong Kong flash his Porsche 997 Carrera 3.8L. The OBDII ECU flash was pretty easy considering he is a world away from us. The customer sent us a great review and some really cool pictures of his car.

“The car is AMAZING after the tune files were uploaded. I have not dyno-ed it, but the car, especially in sports mode pulls so quick through the rev range almost like it’s uncontrollable! I’ve always thought the stock 997s was pretty amazing as is, but now, with this mod, the car definitely much much quicker, there is no flat spot at all anywhere in the power range and it just keeps pulling away like the needle wanting to fly out of the dial! Not to mention the feeling of the enormous thrust from the back, it’s like I have installed a monster down the back aiding the engine pushing the car forward.

Porsche 997 GT3 ECU Flash Gets a WOW!

One of our customers just forwarded us this picture of his Porsche 997 GT3 that was just flashed via OBDII cable from Softronic. He sent us this review!

“Just installed the flash tune in the GT3. WOW, it has transformed the car. Normal city driving has become much easier and the car runs much smoother.
When you open the throttle and use the full rev range the engine sings and the car seems to have a new power-band, which hurtles it down the road.
Might have to get a 25 kilo bag of sand for the boot, as it now lifts the front end up during heavy acceleration.

Super Happy Porsche 996 Turbo ECU Flash Customer

“I went for a Softtronic tune for my 996 turbo. Contacted Dan directly and he kept in good communication. My 996 turbo Fabspeed Maxflo with 200 cell cats, AP Y-Pipe, AP Diverter Valves with F-hose, EVOM V-flow intake, AP race plenum and large bore throttle body. The turn around time was very quick, a matter of hours. I uploaded the tune which only took 2-3 minutes. I tried a few sprints from 0-60 then 60-120, then pushed it up to 155 and it never hesitated. The boost comes much earlier and pulls very hard. A dramatic difference than before the tune. My Porsche feels like a rocket! I highly recommend the Softtronic tune for your Porsche turbo, as mine was transformed into a beast overnight. The nice thing, is that you can upgrade to the Durametric cable and have access to the diagnostics of the vehicle.”

2009 Cayenne GTS DFI Flashed at Paul Miller

Our friends at Paul Miller Performance in New Jersey just flashed this 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS with our Softronic software. The ECU flash is all done via the OBDII port and DOES NOT require the removal of the ECU from the truck. With the tuned file for 93 octane, the SUV will gain about 15hp and 20ft/lbs of torque. The low end throttle response is greatly improved and the mid range with the top end pull much harder. Added mods such as high flow air filters and an exhaust also make this truck scream. Tires Break Lose in 3rd Gear! 997TT Flash

Another very happy Porsche 997 Turbo customer has flashed his ECU via the OBDII port with Softronic. We sent him his files within 24 hours of the read out and he was up and running. Quote from the customer, “We’re still pretty cold up here so had to be a bit careful, but found a dry stretch and— wow, big difference, tires kept breaking loose even in third gear! Overall drivability good, no issues at all, just more power. I need some decent weather to shake it down all the way, but the flash seems to have worked just fine.”

Porsche 997.2 Turbo PDK Sets 60-130mph Record at 7.24secs!

Softronic has been working closely with this 997.2 Turbo customer in Kuwait on a tune that has set the record for the PDK car. It did the 60-130mph run in a blistering 7.24secs. The “stage 3″ Softronic tune works best when the vehicle is equipped with a performance air filter, exhaust, and intercoolers.
