Porsche 997.2 GT3 2010 ECU Flash Tuning

Porsche 997.2 2010 GT3 – $1295

The 2010 GT3 is one incredible street/track car.  As you rev past 2000 rpms, the exquisit sound coming from the back of the car is a like a symphony of horses ready to trample anything in its path.  Jumping up from the previous 3.6L GT3, the 997.2 GT3 has a 3.8L engine with a complete dry sump oil system like the 997 Turbo.  Most of the engine changes are purely cosmetic and are no different when it comes to tuning the cars computer.  Softronic steps in with their fine tuning to focuses on improving the cars power curve. With some additional programming to adjust the cars timing and air fuel mixtures, Softronic is able to gain 20 horsepower to the crank and 21ft/lbs of torque.

Stock Power – 435HP and 316ft/lbs
Tuned Power – 455HP and 337ft/lbs

Softronic flashes the 997.2 3.8L GT3 through the OBDII port of the car. With their Flasher Client software, they are reading a full 1mb of the file to completely tune the ECU. Other companies claim to be able to do this, but are only read 128kb and making global changes. The ECU flash will alter your fuel and timing maps to give you a very linear increase over stock. For those worried about check engine lights, there are none! For those running a high flow cat or straight pipe exhaust systems, Softronic raises the O2 levels which will remove the possibility of having a CEL from this type of exhaust. Once the car is flashed, the low end torque and throttle response will be much improved. The mid-range of the RPM band will feel stronger as well. The overall improvement of drivability makes the 997.2 GT3 even more fun then it was originally. Since warranty is always a concern, Softronic also provides you with your original file. With this original file you can flash your car back to stock at any point. If you go to the dealer, there will be nothing visible through the Porsche PIWIS system. Softronic can program your vehicle no matter what country you are from or what octane you use. We have different maps for those running 91 octane or 93 octane and higher. We have tested this software in many competition venues with nothing but positive results.

756 Wheel Horsepower 997TT Tuned by Softronic

Softronic has finished tuning a monster of a 997TT.  Equipped with parts from Agency Power and built by Vivid Racing, this 997 Turbo pushed some serious wheel horsepower on this Mustang AWD Dyno.  As it gets ready for the Texas Mile, Vivid Racing added new intercooler piping, intakes, plenum, and throttle body to achieve this huge power.  With 1.4bar of boost and 109 Octane gas, this car is truly a handful.  Checkout the dyno sheet and video below.

997 Turbo Cab with Flash and Exhaust runs 11.3 1/4 mile

A client of ours who was partaking in the 2009 Gumball 3000 rally had his 997 Turbo cab equipped with a Softronic ECU Flash and a Agency Power Exhaust System.  3000 miles straight across the USA and this car still was able to put down a 11.3 in the Florida humidity.

Porsche 997TT VTG Upgrade 700HP Tune

Porsche 997TT VTG Upgrade 700HP Tune – $2795

Softronic has developed an ECU tune for those 997 Turbo owners running upgraded VTG turbochargers. The upgraded VTG system retains all the factory components, but with a larger compressor and clipped wheel, these turbos can now produce up to 700 horsepower to the crank. Modifications should be consulted with a installer and the assistance of Softronic to maximize the potential of your vehicle. The tuned file is designed to retain the factory boost controller and up your boost level. For those running catless race pipes, Softronic raises the O2 limiters which trick the computer from throwing a CEL. This map is available for a 91 octane or 93 octane pump gas car as well.

Softronic is now one of the only companies in the world that can do OBDII ecu flashing of the 997 Turbo. With their Flasher Client software, they are reading a full 1mb of the file to completely tune the ECU. Other companies claim to be able to do this, but are only read 128kb and making global changes. Softronic will also provided you with your original file. With this original file you can flash your car back to stock at any point. This map includes 2 revisions in the price. If revisions are necessary, you must provide the dyno sheet showing HP, TQ, Boost, and AFR as well as a Durametric Datalog. Durametric cable is required for this.

vr750beforeandafterWith corresponding performance mods this map was tested on a 997TT Tiptronic to make 557 all wheel horsepower on a Mustang Dyno. With a 25% drivetrain loss, that is a 696hp to the crank.

Porsche 997TT GT3076rs 800HP Tune – $3495

Softronic has a 800 horsepower map for the 997 Turbo that has been converted to using Garrett ball bearing turbos. This ECU flash is for cars running the GT3076rs turbos with Tial 44mm external wastegates. As tested on 109 unleaded octane gas, this map is good for up to 800 horsepower at the crank. Corresponding performance mods are required to reach this level. Modifications should be consulted with a installer and the assistance of Softronic to maximize the potential of your vehicle. This map will delete the check engine lights from removing the VTG turbos. In addition, it is setup for the car using an electronic boost controller to control the wastegates. For those running catless race pipes, Softronic raises the O2 limiters which trick the computer from throwing a CEL. This map is available for a 91 octane or 93 octane pump gas car as well.

Porsche 996 GT2 ECU Flash Tuning

Porsche 996 GT2 – $1549

The 996 GT2 is a rear wheel drive version of the 996 Turbo on steriods. With the larger K24 turbos, more aggressive suspension, and lighter weight, this is purely an animal. The high revving 911 can still gain more power though. Softronic can flash the stock ECU to gain another 40 horsepower and 50ft/lbs of torque.

Stock Power – 475HP and 472ft/lbs
Tuned Power – 515HP and 522ft/lbs
